Nederlander Theatre Event

Housed in a stunning building that’s listed in the Federal National Registry of Historic Places, James M. Nederlander Theatre is a venue that feasts the senses. Named after the iconic Broadway visionary James M. Nederlander, this live performance theater set the stage on fire with the record breaking three-and-a-half-year triumph of Wicked and the success of Billy Elliott. The theater has also proudly hosted a series of Pre-Broadway World Premieres, featuring all time favorite shows like The Addams Family, Big Fish, On Your Feet!, The SpongeBob Musical, Escape to Margaritaville, Pretty Woman: the Musical, and The Cher Show.

But that’s not all! From the first woman to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, Judy Garland, to “The World’s Greatest Entertainer,” Al Jolson, the James M. Nederlander Theatre has played host to a long line of industry legends. Other stars include the likes of Frank Sinatra, The Three Stooges, Ella Fitzgerald, Sophie Tucker, Fanny Brice, Duke Ellington, and Danny Kaye, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and Little Richard – just to name a few!
